🧠 Quick Insight: ALPS + AI = API

I just returned from APIDays NYC, where I gave a talk on turning API stories into functional APIs using nothing but GenAI prompts and ALPS.

The takeaway? You can start from a human-readable story and get to a running prototype of your API quickly and consistently.

This approach pairs ALPS's abstract structure with LLMs' fuzzy logic. The result is a loop-friendly, semantics-first design workflow. Instead of committing to rigid structures up front, you iterate through intent — then snap in behavior. Design as dialogue gives you an API prototype.
